Robyn Glade Wright was born in Cessnock, NSW, in 1959 and she now lives and works in Cairns, Queensland.

Robyn’s arts practice is informed by research into the negative impacts of the Anthropocene. Through her sculptural installations and textile works she explores the effects of climate change and environmental pollution in an effort to foster and promote sustainable behaviours. 

Robyn has had many solo and group exhibitions and her work is held in numerous collections, including James Cook University, Queensland; Powerhouse Museum, Sydney; and the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, Hobart.
