Artist Showcase | Daniel Wallwork

Daniel Wallwork was born in Brisbane, Queensland, in 1975. He works across a range of media, including sculpture, street art, multi-media and illustration.

Daniel’s early training as an automotive refinisher and spray painter has influenced the choice of materials and techniques that he uses in his arts practice. The high-quality automotive paints and industrial materials that he uses create slick, highly finished paintings and sculptural pieces that have an engaging tactility and three-dimensional quality. Humour and a sense of the absurd are evident in much of Daniel’s work, however many of the issues he addresses are anything but lighthearted.

Daniel has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions over the past twenty years, and he has completed a number of public art commissions.
